MONOCLE—A DESIGN START UP

This is a design based startup proposal. Monocle acts a fictional company but is treated as a realistic scenario. Monocle designs and fabricates custom modular pieces of “super furniture” to create experiences which immerse users into various virtual environments. Monocle sees an opportunity to serve a niche market primarily composed of video game designers, developers, and retailers. Monocle sells both products and services which correlate to marketing and or showcasing video games in an exhibit space. Monocle integrates the formal and spatial needs of its clients through the lens of architecture combining it with art, graphics, and interactive user features. Ultimately Monocle's aim is to progress the medium of architecture by combining an array of vocational fields and simultaneously evolving the architectural office by manicuring a culture of respect and cheerleading.

MARKETING

Monocle's revenue will stream in from a number of markets. The channels and their priority with relationship to marketing is listed below. Four client's relationship to the "five P's" is also graphically represented.  

BROADCASTING

A website is the digital version of a handshake. Monocle presents a 'simple yet sophisticated' approach towards design. This mantra is reflected in Monocle's web presence.

PROFITING

Revenue ultimately drives a business. Below are years revenue and expenses for Monocle at years 1, 3, and 5; operating cost related to specific tools are illustrated as well.
