Silly Walks

This project is a social experiment exploring the effects of signage and play. Based on Homo Ludens "Temporary Autonomous Zone", Silly Walks transforms a corridor located within the architectural studio space into a designated zone of "silly walks". Apart from Guy Debord and the Situationist International, Silly Walks also takes a nod at Raoul Vaneigem. Instead of holistically accepting Homo Ludens definition of 'play' Silly Walks prefers to omit competition from the equation producing a volunteer based participation but one that is very much in conflict with the "everyday".
