COVER MY MEDS HEADQUARTERS
Culture is quality stressed by Cover My Meds. CMM wanted a building which reinforced their company culture, but also connected to nature and the city. Our proposal had to balance these connections while accounting for the large floor plates and adequate parking. Our early studies quickly evolved into a large continuous ramp which would connect the river, to an exterior green terrace, to convenient circulation connections. The team also understood the importance of open, loosely programmed, exterior green space which could be used in whatever way CMM saw most appropriate. Although the building is several stories the floor plates are a comfortable echelon providing occupants with easy and organic access to different levels. Although this project is a work in progress, and the design has undergone changes, the core concept continues: connect CMM employees to each other, use space to enhance the CMM culture, and link back to nature.
